Graduate Certificate in Catholic School Leadership

If you’re a current or aspiring Catholic school leader, Creighton University’s graduate certificate in Catholic School Leadership is for you.

You’ll learn about the various dimensions of school leadership and how to apply your skills in an authentic Catholic school setting. You’ll also learn how to lead a school faith community and build a positive Catholic culture, plan strategically to increase funding and enrollment and advocate for Catholic students and their families

“The Catholic School Leadership certificate gives teachers and administrators the tools to lead their schools from a student-centered place. We focus on leadership practices and behaviors that make the biggest difference for student outcomes, as all of our curriculum is based in outcome-oriented research.”

—Ann Mausbach, PhD | Associate Professor and Program Director, College of Arts & Sciences

Creighton’s graduate certificate in Catholic education leadership goes far beyond the administrative aspects of school leadership–teaching students the importance of compassion, relationship-building, reflection and humility in their work. Through hands-on, project-based learning experiences, you’ll learn to lead and manage a school, sustain a positive Catholic school culture, and respond to diverse community and political interests.
