Dr. Lance Frazier is an associate professor in the Doctor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration programs at Creighton University Heider College of Business. The classes he teaches include Applied Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management and Leadership and Organizational Behavior. He is passionate about teaching and is committed to making his classroom an open and accepting environment where students can share thoughts and experiences.
He says, “so much of what I teach is best illustrated from an experiential perspective, whether it be my experiences or those of my students. I also use class exercises and movie clips to illustrate course content.”
His ongoing research interests include trust, proactive work behaviors and the factors that encourage proactive behaviors.
Dr. Frazier received his BS in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Oklahoma City University. After working for nearly ten years and surviving several rounds of layoffs, Dr. Frazier came to the realization that he was unhappy with his job. He fell in love with teaching in the evenings at a local community college and decided to make research and teaching his full-time job. He returned to Oklahoma State to obtain his PhD in Management.
In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Frazier is currently learning to speak Spanish! He also enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on Oklahoma State University sports teams.
