Dr. Tina Wallingford is assistant professor in the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program at Creighton University College of Nursing. She participates in all of the didactic and practicum courses in the program.
Dr. Wallingford has over seventeen years of experience working with neonates and her patients are her inspiration. “I have learned a lot from working with my patients and I want to share that knowledge with future NNPs so they can graduate and provide the highest quality care to this vulnerable population”.
Dr. Wallingford is a longtime Bluejay, having received her BSN, MS and DNP from Creighton. She joined the faculty at Creighton University College of Nursing in 2017. Her ongoing research interests include radiation exposure in the neonatal intensive care unit.
In addition to academia, Dr. Wallingford spends her free time cheering on her children at baseball games and dance competitions.
